I grew up sandwiched between the mountains and the sea of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. I wrote my first book when I was seven (it was awesome - but the world totally isn't ready for it yet) and my next when I was twenty-seven. When asked to account for the intervening decades I like to suggest the possibility of alien abduction with as straight a face as possible.
